How We Work
Every service at Verique begins with a conversation. We listen to your concerns, examine the watch, and provide a written assessment before any tools are picked up. This ensures you understand the scope, cost, and timeline before committing to any work.
Our process follows a structured sequence: intake documentation and photography, detailed assessment, client approval, service execution, quality testing, and a final review before collection. At no point are decisions made about your watch without your knowledge or consent.
Complete Mechanical Overhaul
A thorough servicing of mechanical watch movements, encompassing full disassembly, cleaning of each individual component in an ultrasonic bath, inspection under magnification for worn or damaged parts, and careful reassembly with fresh lubrication. The movement is then regulated across six positions and monitored for rate accuracy over 48 hours.
This service is suited for both manually wound and self-winding calibers. Particularly recommended for timepieces that have not been serviced in five or more years, or those exhibiting power reserve loss, gaining, or losing time beyond acceptable margins.
Dial Restoration and Relume
Addresses cosmetic deterioration of the watch dial, including discoloration, moisture marks, scratching, and faded luminous material. The dial is carefully removed from the movement, cleaned, and assessed for the most appropriate restoration approach — whether that involves touch-up painting, full refinishing, or re-application of luminous compound to hands and indices.
Color-matching is performed with reference to original manufacturer specifications where available. This service respects the character of vintage dials while returning legibility and visual coherence.
Strap and Bracelet Renewal
Covers the replacement or refurbishment of watch straps and metal bracelets. Leather straps can be replaced with a selection of high-quality options including calfskin, alligator-embossed, and rubber alternatives. Metal bracelets are ultrasonically cleaned, and individual links are inspected for stretch or wear.
Clasp mechanisms are adjusted or replaced as needed, and pin-and-tube or screw-link systems are assessed for integrity. The service also includes spring bar replacement and lug-fit verification to ensure a secure and comfortable fit on the wrist.
