I sent in my father's Omega Seamaster for a full overhaul. It hadn't run in years. Verique gave me a very clear assessment before starting — they told me exactly what was worn and why, and what it would cost. The watch came back running within a second per day. Really impressed by the thoroughness.

Had my bracelet cleaned and a couple of stretched links replaced. The result was noticeable — it fits properly now and doesn't rattle. I would have liked slightly faster turnaround, but the quality of work was solid and they kept me updated throughout.

I collect vintage Seikos and needed a dial relume on a 1972 piece. I was nervous about losing the original character, but Verique discussed every option with me first. They matched the lume colour well and didn't touch the patina I wanted to keep. Very considered work.

My Tudor was running about 15 seconds fast per day. After the full overhaul at Verique, it settled within plus two. They gave me a timing printout showing results across all six positions, which I thought was a nice touch. No vague promises — just data.

Needed a new strap for my daily wear. Verique offered several options and let me see the leather quality in person before deciding. The fit is comfortable and the buckle was properly matched. Small job, but handled with the same care as a larger one.

I brought in my late grandmother's Longines for servicing. It hadn't been opened in decades. The team was incredibly respectful of the sentimental value. They explained what the movement needed and kept me informed throughout the three-week process. It runs beautifully now.

Success Stories

Challenge

A 1968 Rolex Datejust brought in with a non-functioning movement. The watch had been stored improperly for over twenty years, leading to dried lubricants, corroded pivot surfaces, and a cracked mainspring. The dial showed significant moisture damage and the original tritium lume had deteriorated completely.

Solution

Full movement overhaul with replacement of the mainspring and two worn pivot shafts. Ultrasonic cleaning of all components. Dial was carefully cleaned and given a conservative touch-up — preserving the aged character while improving legibility. Hands were relumed to match the warm tone of the original tritium.

Result

The movement was returned to service within COSC-adjacent tolerances — averaging plus three seconds per day across positions. The dial retained its vintage appearance while regaining readability. Total service time: three and a half weeks. The owner described it as seeing an old friend come back to life.

Challenge

A modern Grand Seiko with a badly scratched steel bracelet and stretched links from years of daily wear. The clasp no longer closed securely, and several hairspring bars had weakened. The owner wanted to keep the original bracelet rather than replacing it entirely.

Solution

Complete bracelet disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning. Three stretched links were resized. The clasp mechanism was disassembled, cleaned, and the spring tension adjusted. All spring bars were replaced with new units. The bracelet was then reassembled and polished to reduce visible scratching.

Result

The bracelet was returned to a comfortable, secure fit. The clasp latches firmly and the stretch issue was resolved. Turnaround time: four working days. The owner noted it felt like a new bracelet while still being the original piece he had worn for years.

Challenge

An Omega Speedmaster with a heavily faded dial, illegible tachymeter scale, and non-luminous hands. The owner wanted the dial restored to full legibility without losing the matte-black character of the original surface finish.

Solution

The dial was removed and cleaned carefully to avoid disturbing the remaining original printing. The tachymeter scale was re-inked using a matched white pigment. The subdial text was touched up, and hands received a fresh application of luminous compound colour-matched to the vintage superluminova tone.

Result

The dial was returned with full legibility restored, including a crisp tachymeter scale and properly lumed hands. The matte-black finish was preserved. Service time: two weeks. The owner was pleased that the restoration felt honest rather than overly polished.
